RMA > Procedures
The following simple steps will help us process your RMA more quickly and
efficiently
All returns must have a C.P.D. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued
by our Service Department. To insure the proper processing, the RMA number must
be written on the outside of each box. C.P.D. will not accept responsibility for
merchandise sent back without an RMA number. Any product returned without an RMA
number will be reviewed, and either refused then returned at the customers
expense; or subject to a 25% processing fee (restocking & processing fees
are cumulative). C.P.D. is not responsible for any products that were not
originally purchased from CPD. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days from the date
the RMA is issued, and only for the items listed. Defective items must be
separated from good merchandise and organized by like items and part number
(i.e. rubberband, bag,or tape). Products that are mixed, tangled, or in a state
disarray will not be accepted. All returns must have all accessories; any
missing items can delay or forfeit part or all of the credit. Discontinued
products cannot be returned for a refund. Any merchandise returned under false
pretense (such at product returned because it was defective but was not) will be
assessed a 25 % restocking fee (fees are cumulative). All good merchandise must
be returned without price tags and in their original packaging to receive full
credit. CPD will not be responsible for returns lost in transit. That is the
responsibility of the shipper. To reduce this problem parcels shipped back need
to have a Tracking Number.
